Terrazzo

Inspired by the original Venetian terrazzo from the 15th century, developed to make use of leftover marble pieces, this design creates a continuous and directionless flooring.

Randomly placed, the morphology of its fragmented relief is imposed on the cut hexagonal format.

The smoothed texture reveals the aggregate on the surface of the fractured plateaus, a second, smaller-scale interpretation of the original pavement.

Manufactured with high-strength cement and advanced additives, Terrazzo urban tile is ideal for paving spaces that seek unique and varied patterns.

The urban tiles sit on a rigid concrete slab of 15 to 18 cm, designed for pedestrian use with ocasional vehicle traffic service, poured on a soil sub-base.
